ABOUT USOur Partners
"One of the reasons we feel strongly about Welcoming Home is that we help our clients everyday turn their houses into homes by tailoring their rugs, carpets, and flooring into functional surfaces that reflect their styles, tastes, and needs; donating rugs to Welcoming Home allows us to partner with others in the community to assist hard working people who need a little extra help into making their houses into a home too. We’re always so grateful for the appreciation Welcoming Home & its volunteers have shown us, and for choosing us to partner with in the community. "
A POEM FROM ONE OF OUR TEEN VOLUNTEERS
And I am Home
Left alone yet the star of the world
Outwardly healthy, but starving inside
A mama bird, feeding the little ones around me who are more important than I
Crying in the cold, the tears freeze to my face
Feeling guilty because of society, but they are the reason I am here
Have a bad reputation but not all are that way
Slowly giving up but then am able to get discovered
Discovered help to get on my feet
Able to get off the streets
Start anew like a child
Some kind strangers come in and give me hope for my life
Then one day I come inside, and everything has a place
And I am home
