Welcoming Home Donation Processor

Welcoming Home decided to make this payment processor change for several reasons:

• Qgiv offers a better transaction platform for both donors and Welcoming Home, as well as improved customer service for everyone
• For all donors who have opted to pay our processing fees (Thank You All❣️); those fees are now lower than the previous fees. 
  • Flipcause’s fee was 5.95% of the donated amount plus $0.25 per transaction for card fees. Qgiv will charge Welcoming Home 4% (of the donor’s selected donation amount) plus a small transaction fee, a 30%+ reduction in fees for Welcoming Home or for any donor that choses to donate to offset these operating costs for Welcoming Home.
• Another potential improvement for donors is that opting to help defray these costs is part of the total donation to Welcoming Home as a registered 501(c)(3) organization. Our previous processor reported the fee as a payment to the processor. Qgiv reports the total donation payment to Welcoming Home as a single, total donation amount on the receipt.
