This family was referred to Welcoming Home by Face to Face in Sonoma County after a difficult transition into a new chapter of their lives. For 17 years, this mother was in a relationship that became increasingly toxic and unhealthy. The emotional and financial challenges made it difficult for her to imagine starting over on her own. Eventually, she realized she wanted something different—not only for herself, but for her daughters. She wanted to show her girls that they deserve a life filled with safety, peace, and self-respect. When the family left, they were only able to bring a few belongings with them. They are incredibly grateful to Welcoming Home for providing the missing pieces and helping create a warm, comfortable home as they begin this fresh start together.
