Matthew was referred to us by Catholic Charities of Santa Rosa, he is originally from Monterey County. After the break up from his kids mother, he lost his job and became separated from family and then was injured and in the hospital for 6-7 months and became homeless. He is legally blind and was being housed and supported by Catholic Charities. His 10 year old daughter and 15 year old son moved around quite a bit but Matthew is now their primary parent. They are all incredibly relieved to be getting their new apartment. Especially after it had been promised to them in early December but the new construction ran into delays and they are just now getting to move in. The wait has been extremely hard on the kids to say the least. Maya loves anything hello kitty and Gabe loves gaming and football. They can’t wait to enjoy their patio and have their very own private bedrooms!

This Welcoming is generously sponsored by an anonymous donor. Their support will help us collect and install donated furniture and other household items, purchase a brand-new bed for the client and have all items delivered by professional movers from various donors to the client’s home. The sponsorship will also cover the purchasing items that aren’t donated.
