"As a long time donor to Welcoming Home, I feel it is so important to help those transitioning out of homelessness in our community. We live in such an affluent area, that sometimes it is easy to forget that so many are struggling here. What I particularly love about this organization is that you get to read about each family's story and you know exactly who is benefitting from your donation. To see the 'before and after' photos sometimes brings me to tears (happy tears!) Each family's preferences are taken into account, so that their new home is done with their taste in mind—it is not a "one size fits all" operation. It is so personal, and that is what I love about it."
