Sponsored Welcoming Home in Sonoma County
This family was referred to Welcoming Home by Face to Face in Sonoma County.
For 17 years, April was in a relationship that became increasingly toxic and unhealthy. The emotional and financial challenges made it difficult for her to imagine starting over on her own.
Eventually, she realized she wanted something different, not only for herself but for her daughters. She wanted to show her girls that they deserve a life filled with safety, peace, and self-respect.
When April and the kids left they were able to bring only a few belongings with them. They were grateful for having a new, safe home even while living with a minimum of furnishings.
This lovely family was incredibly grateful to learn that Welcoming Home and a generous sponsor (who prefers to remain anonymous) would be providing much-needed furnishings and helping to create a warm, comfortable home as they begin this fresh start together.
