An anonymous, generous donor sponsored a special
November Welcoming Home in Santa Rosa

Irene is single mom who was referrred to us by Catholic Charities of Santa Rosa.
 
After many hardships, Irene was finally reunited with her 14-year-old son this summer. They were forced to move from shelter to shelter but with the help of Catholic Charities, they were finally able to settle into their own apartment.
   
Irene works full time at a gas station; it’s challenging for her to pay the rent on her current income but she is managing.
   
Irene and her son are so looking forward to having a space they can call home! 

Reaction

A very grateful mom and 14-year-old son looked at the transformation of their
home with tears in their eyes.  The young boy especially loved his new gaming chair.

Irene was a bit overwhelmed and clearly grateful. "You guys are amazing! How did you do this so fast? It’s a home now!"

And then finally, "Can I hug you?"
